Our MissionTo serve our members by sharing information, enhancing skills, and broadening opportunities in the field of technical communication. Upcoming Events We have lots of awesome events up our sleeves for 2008. You'll want to be a part! Who We AreThe Susquehanna Valley Chapter of STC was founded in 2000 by a few technical communicators who wanted to form a "local" community. Although we cover a huge geographic region, we are a tightknit group willing to go to great lengths to see each other, and to learn from each other's experiences. STC is an individual membership organization dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication. It is the largest organization of its type in the world. Its 18,000 members include technical writers and editors, content developers, documentation specialists, technical illustrators, instructional designers, academics, information architects, usability and human factors professionals, visual designers, Web designers and developers, and translators - anyone whose work makes technical information available to those who need it.
